 <note>Masa pakai transformator dan peralatannya sangat tergantung pada kualitas sistem isolasi. Insulasi merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam transformator karena pada umumnya insulasi menggunakan insulasi cair dan padat sesuai dengan fungsinya sebagai bahan insulasi dan media pendingin. Pada saat itu digunakan transformator penuaan minyak dan kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh beberapa hal seperti kotoran, kadar air, gas terlarut (Dissolved Gas Analysis-DGA), keasaman dan pemanasan minyak. Pemuatan transformer akan menyebabkan penurunan kualitas sistem isolasi transformer yang mengakibatkan berkurangnya usia minyak isolasi. Pada kesempatan ini penulis akan menganalisa kandungan gas terlarut (DGA) pada transformator dengan menggunakan empat metode yaitu: Duval Triangle Method (DTM), Key Gas Method (KGM), Rogers Ratio Method (RRM), dan Total Combustible Gas (TDCG) &#13;
The  lifetime  of  transformers  and  its  equipments  are  highly  dependent  on  the  quality  of  insulation  system. &#13;
Insulation  is  one  important  component  in  a transformer  because generally,  insulations used  liquid  and  solid &#13;
insulation in  accordance  with  its  function as an insulating  material  and  cooling  media.  At the  time  there  used &#13;
transformer oil  aging  and  damage  caused  by  several things such as impurities,  water  content,  dissolved gases &#13;
(Dissolved Gas Analysis-DGA),  acidity  and  heating  the  oil. Transformers  loading  will  cause  a  decrease  in  the &#13;
quality of the transformers insulation system that resulted in the decreasing  age of insulating oil. &#13;
This paper explained the influence of aging on the rate of degradation of Dissolved Gases of power transformers &#13;
insulating  oil. This  research  was  conducted  using  sample  data  loading  and  maintenance  of  transformers  by &#13;
obtained  directly  with  investigations  into  the  transformers  which  is  operating.  There  are  three  method  to &#13;
determine  quality  of  oil  transformer  i.e.  Total  Combustible  Gases  (TCG),  Roger  Ratio,  Key  Gas  and  Duval &#13;
Triangle Methods.  &#13;
Based on analysis result by using samples from a variety of loading conditions of the transformers with different &#13;
levels we can conclude the quality and worthiness of insulation oil and the estimated the effective remaining life &#13;
of transformers insulation system.  &#13;
