Jumlah Halaman : 75 | Ukuran : 21x15 cm ABSTRACT Politeknik Caltex Riau as one of well-known polytechnic in Riau and national best private polytechnic affects number of lecturer applicant. In selecting the lecturer, Politeknik Caltex Riau performs carefull process based on specific criteria that must be meet by the applicant. Currently, the selection process is still performed manually. To improve the process, this research is aimed to develop decision support system as alternative process in selecting the lecturer applicant. This research utilizes Elimination Et Choix Tranduisant La Realité (ELECTRE) method. Based on conducted experiment, ELECTRE has achieved 100% validation. In addition, based on comparison testing between manual process and the system, the developed system resulted 80% accuracy for lecturer and 66.67% accuracy for laboratory assistant. Finally, user acceptance test has been done and user of the system, Politeknik Caltex Riau, has accepted result of the research.
